Our WESTEND CITY HOSTEL is the most centrally located  family-run youth hostel right in the center of Vienna and has 29 rooms. Our prime location in the old town of Vienna, close to the Westbahnhof (western railway station, with the large shopping mall “Bahnhof City Wien West”) and Innere Mariahilfer Straße enables you to get to most sights, restaurants, cinemas and clubs quickly.

Westend City Hostel offers single, double, family rooms and shared rooms for groups. We are easily accessible by public transport and by car. We also offer our guests discounted APCOA garage tickets and bicycle parking in the courtyard.

The Mariahilferstreet ist the most famous shopping street in Austria with a car-free-Zone and a bikeway. Westend City Hostel is located directly on the famous shopping street. Start your shopping experience from Westend City Hostel.

XXX-Lutz Restaurant (as well as numerous other breakfast bakeries and restaurants) and the Apcoa Garage are located in the immediate vicinity of Westend City Hostel.

In about 15 minutes walk through the Mariahilferstraße you reach the popular Viennese Ringstrasse (Wiener Ringstrasse) with many historical buildings (Rathaus, Parlament, Heldenplatz, University of Vienna (Uni Wien) and the museums at Maria Theresienplatz).

Trendy shops – hip clubs – museums – theatres and operas – modern architecture and classicism: in Vienna this is no contradiction at all.

We offer spacious rooms at reasonable prices for families, groups and backpackers.

Breakfast is available after written confirmation for groups (of at least 20 travelers) between 7am and 10am in our breakfast room .

There are numerous Viennese coffee houses, restaurants and bakeries near Westend City Hostel (at Marihilferstrasse and in Westebahnhof) that offer a very good breakfast.
